Empowerment Series-Law

The Empowerment Series-Law was held at Canyon Springs Leadership and Law High School on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. There were over 300 law magnet students who were given the opportunity to hear from some of the most influential people in their law careers. They included Judge Courtney Ketter-North Las Vegas Municipal Court; Chief Deputy District Attorney Tina Talim; Attorney Caleb Green, Attorney Denise Glasgow, and Attorney Gillian Barjon. A full Mariachi Band greeted the guests in the front of the school. Immediately following the program, the esteemed panelists were given a tour of the only mock trial courtroom on a CCSD high school campus.

I served as the Moderator and Mr. Wes Hall-CEO and Lead Consultant provided insights on the importance of finding and using one's gifts and focusing on one's purpose. Finally, Channel 8 News covered this auspicious event the same evening on their 5 p.m. newscast.
