Won’t God Do It: Dr. Marjorie Hayes

In this month’s episode of my podcast “Won’t God Do It,” I speak with Dr. Marjorie Hayes. She is the sibling of 14 children and the widow to her husband, James Hayes, of 47 years. She has one son Carl and is grandmother of three girls, and great-grandmother of four girls and one boy. Dr. Marjorie Hayes has been a member for 45 years of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Dr. Harold T. Johson Sr- the Senior Pastor.

She has served as president of the Youth Usher Board, a member of the Mission society and clothing give away in the community. Despite dropping out of school in the 10th grade at 16 years old, Dr. Marjorie Hayes has gone on to achieve remarkable educational success!

Dr. Hayes is a graduate of Los Angeles Southwest College receiving her AA degree in Liberal Studies, California State University Dominguez Hills receiving her BA in Liberal Studies, and a recent graduate with both a Master and Doctorate degree of Harmony Bible Institute in Los Angeles California. She gives God all the glory for her accomplishments. Dr. Hayes’ activities and hobbies include making floral arrangements, cooking, fishing, hosting parties, making people laugh, dancing, and line dancing.
