Won’t God Do It: Charmaine Tucker

This month’s guest on my podcast “Won’t God Do It” is hairstylist and author Charmaine Tucker.

A Los Angeles, California native, Charmaine was raised by her mother in a single-parent household alongside her sister and brother. A proud graduate of Inglewood High School, she pursued her passion for beauty, becoming a licensed cosmetologist and building a successful 34-year career as a hairstylist. Through her work, Charmaine has not only enhanced outer beauty but has also used her platform to uplift, encourage, and inspire others.

She is a devoted mother to her 37-year-old son and a woman of strong faith, actively rooted at Faithful Central Bible Church. Her heart for service extends into mentorship, having participated in a girls’ mentorship program and continuing today to mentor and disciple young women, guiding them in purpose, self-worth, and spiritual growth.

Charmaine is the author of “I Refuse to Settle,” a powerful message encouraging others to break cycles of compromise, embrace their worth, and walk boldly in what God has promised. Through her voice, her story, and her work, she inspires others to live intentionally and refuse to settle in any area of life.
